Cheddar Cheese: Cheddar cheese is a popular type of cheese that is known for its sharp flavor and creamy texture. It is commonly used in cooking and baking due to its melting properties. Plain Flour: Plain flour, also known as all-purpose flour, is a common ingredient in many recipes. It is used as a binding agent and to help thicken the mixture. In this recipe, plain flour is added to the mashed potato and cheese mixture to help hold the croquettes together.

Egg: Eggs are a versatile ingredient that is used in a wide variety of dishes. In this recipe, an egg is beaten and added to the mixture to help bind the ingredients together and add moisture. It also helps the breadcrumbs adhere to the croquettes during the frying process.

Breadcrumbs: Breadcrumbs are used as a coating for the croquettes to create a crispy and crunchy texture when fried. They add a nice contrast to the soft and creamy interior of the croquettes. In this recipe, breadcrumbs are used to coat the formed potato and cheese mixture before frying.

Salt: Salt is a crucial ingredient in cooking that helps to enhance the flavors of the other ingredients. It is used in this recipe to season the mashed potato and cheese mixture, as well as the breadcrumbs used for coating the croquettes.
