Ingredients

  • 4 Fish whitefish
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried Fenugreek
  • 3 tbsp Gram Flour
  • 3 tbsp Plain Flour
  • Water as required

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients, ensuring they are well incorporated to form a smooth and even marinade.
  • Add the fish to the bowl, making sure each piece is thoroughly coated with the marinade. Use your hands or a spoon to gently rub the mixture onto the fish for better absorption of flavors.
  • Cover the bowl and let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse properly. For enhanced flavor, you can leave it for a longer duration.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the marinated fish into the pan.
  • Fry each side for approximately 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Adjust the heat if necessary to prevent burning while ensuring the fish is cooked through.
  • Remove the fish from the pan and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
