Ingredients

  • 300 g Self Raising Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Yeast
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 100 ml Water Warm

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add the ingredients into a bowl then combine the ingredients together to form a firm dough – add more water if required
  • Oil the bowl and leave the dough to set and rise for at least half an hour
  • Create small balls with the dough and then roll out
  • Add water on one side of the naan bread
  • Cook on a pan for a few minutes until a few bubbles form
  • Flip the pan and cook the naan for a few more minutes until the naan bread is browned
  • Add butter and garlic or coriander if desired
  • Serve immediately and enjoy with your favourite kebab and curry!

  1. Salaam I would like to make a big batch of these so I have tripled the recipe, do I need 3 eggs or would 2 be enough – only asking because my mum is funny with eggs lol

    Tried this recipe and it turned out fab! Would definitely recommend. Only question is if I wanted to make half the quantity do I need to half all the other ingredients too?
