In a saucepan, pour the whole milk and heat it over medium-low heat. Be sure not to boil it; you want it hot but not scalding.
Add 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper to the milk. Stir well to combine.
Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. This helps to infuse the flavours of the spices into the milk.
After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat. If you’d like, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavour.
Sweeten your turmeric milk with 2 tablespoons of honey, or adjust the amount to your desired sweetness. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
Pour the turmeric milk into your favourite mug and enjoy the soothing and healthy beverage.

I am allergic to dairy products. Are any of the other milk choices that would work? (Oat. almond, etc.)
