This delicious masala corn chaat is the perfect combination of sweet and hot flavours. An absolute lip-smacking chaat recipe that can be served as a quick evening snack or as a side salad to a wonderful Indian buffet.

I love chaat in all its forms, whether it is chana chaat or papdi chaat or this sweetcorn chaat. This sweetcorn chaat recipe is perfect for the upcoming summer months.

Not to mention it is great for Ramadan as it is so easy to prepare.

I use canned sweetcorn. In this recipe, I use one can, the drained weight of which is approximately 160g. You can alter the amount of sweetcorn you want to use to change the amount of spiciness you like. Alternatively, you could use fresh sweetcorn as well.

One of the ingredients in this recipe is green chutney. I use my own homemade green chutney recipe for this, but you could also use store-bought if you want to. The best thing about my green chutney is that you can freeze it, so you don’t even need to make it specifically for this recipe.
