Ingredients

  • 200 g Sweetcorn
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomatoes
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chaat Masala
  • ½ tsp Crushed Chillies
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Green Chutney
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Tamarind Chutney (Imli)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Coriander

Instructions

  • If using fresh corn, then bring a large pot of salted water to a boil then add the corn and allow to simmer for five minutes until cooked through (see note 1)
  • Drain the corn then allow to cool (see note 2)
  • As the corn is cooling finely chop the onion, tomato and coriander then add into a large bowl
  • Once the corn has cooled down add into the bowl along with the rest of the ingredients
  • Stir it all together until well combined
  • Serve as a quick snack and enjoy!

Notes

Note 1 - Do not boil for too long as the corn kernels can end up mushy and dry.
Note 2 - Alternatively, canned corn can be used. In this case, step 1 and 2 will not be required.
