A delicious spicy potato recipe that is full of flavour and warmth. This potato recipe is so easy to make and the perfect side to almost any grilled meat dish. If you have not tried this spicy potato recipe then you are in for a treat.

Love potatoes? Then this twist on fried potatoes is for you. Forget the classic French fries and the boring roast potatoes this spicy potato snack recipe is an absolute dream. This vegan and gluten-free potato dish are perfect for those of every diet. Not only that, but it comes together in less than 30 minutes!

This spicy potato recipe is a twist on the Lebanese batata harra dish. Made with fried potatoes tossed in spices and fresh garlic, these potatoes are out of this world.

Who doesn’t love fried potatoes? I mean, chips have got to be the one thing that everyone loves, and this fried potato recipe is no different. This spicy potato recipe combines many of my favourite things including bell peppers, potatoes, and spices.

Potatoes are one of those things that basically taste good in any shape or form, so it’s no surprise that they go wonderfully well with rice. There are so many types of potatoes out there and you can really be spoilt for choice.

I don’t really prefer any particular type of potatoes to use in this recipe and I usually just do whatever I have to hand.

With the potato skins, it is up to personal preference whether you want to remove them or not. Depending on how I am feeling I may remove them. Sometimes I keep them on. There are lots of benefits to potato skins, so keeping them on is always a good idea!

Now if you have been following me for a while now you would know that I love using bell peppers in pretty much everything.

There is just something about this vegetable that I absolutely love. I use capsicum in everything from my chicken pasta to my chicken quesadillas. So, I thought what better addition is there to this spicy potatoes recipe than bell peppers?

Notes

Note 1 – You can use any variety of potato that you like, but a good choice is red potatoes. Depending on personal preference you may also choose to leave the skins of the potatoes on.
Note 2 – Ensure that the oil is not too hot or too cold. When you add the potato the oil should bubble slightly.
Note 3 – You could use garlic paste instead, but it is better to use fresh garlic as it enhances the flavour.
