In a large mixing bowl, combine the sifted plain flour and salt.
Gradually add water while kneading the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Flatten each dough ball and brush with vegetable oil.
Roll out each dough ball into a thin circle.
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
Place a rolled-out dough circle onto the pan and cook until bubbles start to appear.
Flip the paratha and brush with oil, then cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
Serve hot with your favourite curry or condiment.
