Ingredients

For the Marination

  • 500 g Chicken
  • 1 tbsp Yoghurt
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 pinch Food Colour red

To Serve

  • Oil
  • Tortilla Wrap
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Marinated Chicken

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients apart from the Chicken until well combined.
  • Add the Chicken to the bowl and coat it evenly with the spice mixture, ensuring each piece is fully covered. Set the chicken aside to marinate for at least one hour to absorb all the flavours.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of Oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the marinated Chicken in the pan and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred on the edges.
  • In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of Oil over medium heat. Place a Tortilla in the pan and allow it to warm slightly.
  • Sprinkle a generous layer of Mozzarella Cheese over the tortilla, then add the cooked Chicken on top. Cook for 1–2 minutes, allowing the bottom of the tortilla to brown lightly.
  • Carefully fold the tortilla in half to form a taco and press down gently to hold it together. Serve immediately while warm.
