Ingredients

  • 500 g Turkey Lean Minced
  • 1 Onion Finely Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper Diced
  • 400 g Canned Tomatoes Chopped
  • 400 g Kidney Beans Canned
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Cumin Ground
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano Dried
  • Salt And Black Pepper
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish Preferable

Instructions

  • In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until they become translucent.
  • Add the minced turkey to the pan and cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until it’s browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the diced bell peppers and continue to cook for a few minutes until they start to soften.
  • Add the ground cumin, paprika, chili powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the meat and vegetables with the spices.
  • Pour in the canned chopped tomatoes and kidney beans. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the chilli simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and the flavours meld together.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Serve the turkey chilli hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves if desired.
