Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken Boneless, Cut into Small Pieces
  • 100 g Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Oil For Marination
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Red Food Colour Optional
  • Oil For cooking

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and all the spices.
  • Add the chicken and coat it well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes,
  • Flip and cook for a further 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Increase the heat at the end to get a nice char for that tikka effect.
  • Serve hot with naan, rice, salad, or chutney.
