Place the plain flour into a large mixing bowl.
Add the salt, sugar, and instant yeast to the bowl. Mix all the dry ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
Pour in the olive oil. Begin adding the warm water slowly, a little at a time, while stirring with a spatula or your hand to help the dough come together evenly.
Once the dough begins to form, use your hands to knead it directly in the bowl or on a clean surface. Knead continuously for at least 5 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
Shape the dough into a round ball, making sure the surface is smooth with no cracks.
Lightly oil the inside of the mixing bowl to prevent sticking, then return the dough to the bowl.
Cover the bowl using a lid, plate, or a damp cloth. Set it aside in a warm spot for 1 hour to allow the dough to rise.
After an hour, check the dough—it should have doubled in size and feel airy and soft when touched.
Lightly dust a pizza pan or tray with flour to prevent the dough from sticking.
Place the risen dough ball onto the pan and gently press and flatten it outward with your fingers to form a pizza base.
Spread a layer of pizza sauce evenly over the flattened dough.
Sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella cheese first to create a base layer for the toppings.
Distribute the tuna, sliced onions, and sweetcorn evenly over the cheese.
Top with another layer of mozzarella cheese to cover the toppings.
Finish with a generous sprinkle of chilli flakes to add a slight kick.
Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (430°F) for 15–20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
