Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Mince
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1- inch Ginger grated
  • 2 Green Chilies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp Coriander chopped
  • 2 tbsp Mint chopped

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies.
  • Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, paprika, and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  • Let the mixture rest for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
  • After the proofing time, take small portions of the chicken mixture and shape them into long, cylindrical kebabs.
  • Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. You can also cook these kebabs in the oven.
  • Grill the chicken seekh kebabs for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice char on the outside.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and mint leaves.
  • Serve hot with naan bread or rice, and your favourite chutney.
  • Enjoy your delicious Chicken Seekh Kebabs!

Notes

You can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or fewer green chilies.
If using wooden skewers for grilling, remember to soak them in water for about 30 minutes before using to prevent them from burning.
Squeeze any excess moisture from the chopped onions to prevent the kebab mixture from becoming too wet.
