Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 200 g Plain Flour
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into small bite-sized chunks then add into a bowl
  • Add the salt, black pepper, egg and corn flour to the chicken then mix until everything is evenly combined before setting aside for at least 30 minutes
  • Once ready to fry combine the plain flour, breadcrumbs and chilli powder together in a shallow dish
  • Coat each chicken piece with the flour mixture before gently adding into hot oil
  • Deep fry the chicken popcorn for 3-4 minutes on each side – be sure to not overcrowd the pan as this will make your chicken popcorn soggy and less crispy
  • Serve immediately and enjoy with a dip of your choice!
