Bangladeshi Beef Curry

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and fry until golden brown, about 8–10 minutes.
Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chillies. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in turmeric, red chilli, coriander, and cumin powders. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add the beef cubes and sear until lightly browned on all sides.
Mix in chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook for 5 minutes until tomatoes soften.
Pour in water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle garam masala powder and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
