Ingredients

  • 40 g Coriander washed and chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 Green Chilli chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the fresh cilantro leaves, chopped onion, green chili, minced garlic, ground cumin, and salt.
  • Blend the ingredients until you get a smooth paste, adding 2 tablespoons of water to help with the blending process.
  • Scrape down the sides of the blender if needed to ensure all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and stir in the lemon juice.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt or lemon juice if necessary.
  • Serve the cilantro chutney as a condiment or dipping sauce with your favorite dishes.

Notes

Adjust the amount of green chili according to your spice preference.
This chutney is a great accompaniment to snacks, kebabs, or as a topping for various Indian dishes.
