Ingredients

  • 500 g Lamb Boneless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 150 g Yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1- inch Ginger grated
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt To Taste
  • Coriander For garnish
  • Lemon Wedges For serving

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, paprika, chili powder, garam masala, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
  • Add the lamb pieces to the marinade and ensure they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • Preheat your grill or oven to a high heat (around 220°C or 430°F).
  • Thread the marinated lamb pieces onto skewers.
  • Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the lamb is cooked through and has a nice char.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.

Notes

You can adjust the level of spiciness by increasing or decreasing the amount of chilli powder to suit your taste.
If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for 30 minutes before threading the lamb to prevent them from burning during cooking.
