Indulge in the Italian delight of tiramisu, a no-bake dessert. This non-alcoholic variant of the classic dessert features the goodness of mascarpone cheese, coffee-dipped ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Ingredients

  • 6 large Egg Yolks
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 450 grams Mascarpone Cheese
  • 240 ml Coffee cooled
  • 24 Ladyfingers Savoiardi
  • Cocoa Powder for dusting

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until well combined and creamy.
  • Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and beat until smooth.
  • Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and lay in the bottom of a 8x8 dish. You should use about 12 ladyfingers.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone and egg yolk mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, then spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the top.
  • Dust the top of the dessert with cocoa powder.
  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

The strong coffee can be decaf if preferred, and the dish can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
