Indulge in the Italian delight of tiramisu, a no-bake dessert. This non-alcoholic variant of the classic dessert features the goodness of mascarpone cheese, coffee-dipped ladyfingers, and a dusting of cocoa powder.
In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until well combined and creamy.
Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and beat until smooth.
Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and lay in the bottom of a 8x8 dish. You should use about 12 ladyfingers.
Spread half of the mascarpone and egg yolk mixture over the ladyfingers.
Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers, then spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the top.
Dust the top of the dessert with cocoa powder.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
The strong coffee can be decaf if preferred, and the dish can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.Nutritional facts:The provision of nutritional information is done so merely as a courtesy and should not be taken as a guarantee.
