Ingredients

  • 250 g Bread Flour Strong White
  • 1 tsp Yeast Instant
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 150 ml Water Warm
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Passata
  • 1-2 cloves Garlic Finely chopped
  • 100 g Mozzarella Cheese Sliced
  • 1 handful Basil Leaves Fresh
  • Salt To Taste
  • Black Pepper To Taste

Instructions

  • Combine the flour, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl. Pour in the olive oil and warm water, then stir until the mixture forms a dough.
  • Knead the dough for 10-15 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place it in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with a damp cloth. Allow it to rise in a warm place for 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
  • Heat your oven to 220°C. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and size.
  • Spread tomato passata over the pizza base and sprinkle with garlic. Top with mozzarella cheese and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Take the pizza out of the oven and garnish it with fresh basil leaves. Slice and serve it hot.

Notes

Preheat your oven to achieve a crispy pizza crust before baking.
You may add other toppings like olives, mushrooms, or cooked meats to your pizza.
